Automotive Technology Associate Instructor

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Nashville is accepting applications for the position of Associate Instructor for the Automotive Technology program. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Required Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.Post-secondary training in Automotive Technology.
Current ASE Master Technician Certification preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of current work experience in the field.
Evidence of ability to instruct all phases of automotive technology; prior teaching experience a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills to inspect troubleshoot, service, and repair domestic and import automotive systems utilizing safe and proper methods, techniques, practices, and equipment.

Salary Range

This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary is based on education, experience, and in accordance with salary guidelines of the institution. Salary Range: $46,309 - $60,029, Associate Instructor level.
