EVENING PROGRAMS COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Nashville is accepting applications for a part-time position for Evening Programs for the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Nashville. This position’s hours are Monday – Thursday, 3:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. with Friday’s off.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Three to five years’ experience in a higher education setting preferred. 
  • Evidence of professional development experiences related to student personnel administration in higher education. 
  • Demonstrated ability to organize multiple programs and projects and ability to prioritize job duties. 
  • Knowledge of TCAT, TBR, state and federal procedures.
     

Responsibilities

  • Develops, administers and reports research on entering and enrolled students.
  • Maintains retention program.
  • Prepares grant proposals for Perkins and others as needed.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the evening programs.
  • Assist with COE accreditation efforts.
  • Supervise and evaluate faculty of assigned programs.
  • Approves adjunct faculty time reports.
  • Participate in student services office decision-making, planning, and office policies and procedures.
  • Counsels and assists students as needed.
  • Assist any evening program with substituting as needed.
  • Provide photo IDs for evening students as needed.
  • Act as liaison between instructors, students, and employees.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes with the program offerings.
  • Communicate with students regarding financial aid and related matters.
  • Coordinate evening contract classes and assist instructors as needed.
  • Develop, evaluate, and monitor program curriculum. 17. Assist in program certifications.
  • Assist with graduation activities.
  • Recruit and oversee Business and Industry training efforts.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

Commensurate with education, experience and TCAT Nashville guidelines.
