General Admission Requirements
- Program enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis by date of completed application. (A completed application includes all items required for enrollment.)
- Persons seeking admission to a college must be at least 18 years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalent. For full-time programs, the applicant must declare an occupational objective and demonstrate reasonable potential for achieving that objective.
- All persons who are required to register for the Federal Draft under 50 U.S.C. App. Section 453 are not eligible to enroll in any post-secondary school until they have registered with selective service.

Educational and admission requirements vary from program to program.
Phlebotomy Technology Supplemental Certificate
Phlebotomy Technology is a supplemental certificate program. Supplemental programs are not eligible for financial aid. This program trains students to draw blood specimens, via venipuncture and skin puncture, to aide doctors in the diagnosis and/or treatment of patient’s health issues. This short-term supplemental program with institutionally-organized, hands-on clinical training can lead to a life-long career as a phlebotomist. It can serve as a springboard into other occupations such as a Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse, or a Registered Nurse.If you are interested in phlebotomy training please email Marsha Nikahd at marsha.nikahd@tcatnashville.edu or Vickey Myatt, Allied Health Secretary vickey.myatt@tcatnashville.edu with your contact information (name, phone number and email address) so that we may reach out to you with future phlebotomy training classes.
Aviation Maintenance Technology
All new students must pass the Pre-Assessment Exam in the WIN Career Readiness System before being put on the waiting list for Aviation.
Early Childhood Education
Regular high school diploma or GED required to be eligible for the CDA assessment/Early Childhood Education program.
Aesthetics Technology
Ten high school credits or GED score of 450.
Dental Laboratory Technology
Acceptance is based on first-come, first-serve.
Instruction in the Dental Lab Technology program is individualized. A student may enroll when a vacancy occurs and exits the program when the desired proficiency level has been attained. Acceptance is based on first-come, first-serve.

Applicants must complete an on-line application and provide the campus with a copy of one of the following for proof of educations.

Class Schedule
Class meets Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
Cost of Training
For the costs of the Dental Lab Technology program, please refer to the expense sheet available on the school website. The costs include tuition, textbooks, supplies, and tools required for the program.
NOTE: Textbooks and uniforms are required the first day of class. The Instructor will provide a supply list on the first day of class. The student is responsible for purchasing supplies needed for the program.

Practical Nursing
This program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. The Nursing program prepares individuals to become members of a nursing team in hospitals, long term health care facilities, doctors’ offices, outpatient clinics, and home health care. Students are required to complete supervised clinical experiences in all areas of nursing care. Graduates will obtain a diploma in Practical Nursing and then be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nursing. Dental Assisting
How to Apply for the Dental Assisting Program

Dental Assisting Packet (Instrutor will provide packet after application is completed)
Class Schedule
Class meets Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., while in class. Clinical will begin in the 2nd trimester of the program. Clinical hours vary based on the site you will be attending. Clinical hours are subject to change, clinical is mandatory to complete the program.
