LPN Bootcamp Program
Job Summary:
Vanderbilt Home Care is part of one of the country’s most respected medical centers.
We provide in-home care for patients with chronic conditions.
Imagine being able to take a more personal approach to nursing — focusing on just one
patient at a time. It’s possible as a private duty professional with Vanderbilt Home Care.
The majority of our private duty patients are infants or children, so we look for nurses
who have a strong desire to work with a pediatric population.
Program Overview:
The Vanderbilt Home Care LPN Bootcamp
Program is a 6-12-week educational program
designed to prepare the newly licensed
LPN for the home care setting.
Full Time, benefited positions.
Competitive pay from start date ($25.87
per hour); increase at completion of
program (12 weeks) ($26.91 per hour)
Weekly interactive classroom education.
Provide direct patient care alongside an
RN Preceptor.
Successful completion of the program
ensures a position with Vanderbilt home
Care Services.
Required:
Graduate of an approved discipline specific
program
Licensed Practical Nurse (required)
Less than one (1) year experience
