The Information Session will cover all requirements to enroll into the September 2025 PN Prerequisite Course.

All Sessions are in Building 2 - Douglas Henry Building - Room 229/231
It is mandatory to attend an Information session prior to starting the program.
Students passing the September 2025 Prerequisite Course will be eligible to enroll into the January 2026 PN Program.

Program Credentials
This program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. The Nursing program prepares individuals to become members of a nursing team in hospitals, long term health care facilities, doctors’ offices, outpatient clinics, and home health care. Students are required to complete supervised clinical experiences in all areas of nursing care. Graduates will obtain a diploma in Practical Nursing and then be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nursing. This program is designed to meet the educational requirements for Practical Nursing in Tennessee. Requirements vary by state and may not be met through this program in other states. Students planning to work outside Tennessee should contact the appropriate licensing agency to confirm eligibility.
