Tennessee College of Applied Technology Nashville-Portland Campus (TCAT Nashville-Portland) is hosting National Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the Portland Campus, 602 South Broadway, Portland, TN. As is done with collegiate athletic signings, new students for the 2018-2019 school year will ink their intentions to complete an occupational program at TCAT Nashville-Portland.
The event mirrors the NCAA's National Signing Day for students who commit to play sports in college. It is designed to honor students entering an occupational field, emphasizing the College's commitment to help you gain the skills necessary to compete in high demand occupations. TCAT Nashville-Portland is one of several technical colleges around the country that will simultaneously host signing day ceremonies. The event will be video streamed live.
Participating in the Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day will give you an opportunity to meet employers interested in hiring TCAT Nashville-Portland students. Local employers and business leaders will be available to answer your questions about their company.
