The Information Session will cover all requirements to enroll into the January 2023 PN Prerequisites Courses (Anatomy & Physiology and Dosage Calculations). It is mandatory to attend an Information session prior to starting the program. Passing the January 2023 PN Prerequisites will make you eligible to enroll into the September 2023 Portland PN Program. Prior to receiving an application for the Sepember 2023 Practical Nursing program, applicants are required to take and pass the prerequisites of Anatomy & Physiology and Dosage Calculations. Program Credentials
Portland Campus PN Class Hours:
Monday - Tuesday Hours 6:30 am to 4:00 pm
Wednesday - Thursday Hours 7:45 - 2:15 pm
Class hours may vary during clinicals.
This program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. The Nursing program prepares individuals to become members of a nursing team in hospitals, long term health care facilities, doctors’ offices, outpatient clinics, and home health care. Students are required to complete supervised clinical experiences in all areas of nursing care. Graduates will obtain a diploma in Practical Nursing and then be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nursing.
