The Hybrid Practical Nursing program is the same length, one-year, and covers the same curriculum as our on campus Practical Nursing program. As a Hybrid program, a portion of the courses are covered online. Students will attend classes and/or clinical on campus or at a clinical site, approximately 22 hours a week. While there is some flexibility in performing course requirements, students choosing to register under the Hybrid Practical Nursing program need to have strong computer skills, the ability to manage their time well and be accountable for course material deadlines as well as be a strong, independent learner.
Graduates will obtain a diploma in Practical Nursing and then be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nursing. Please contact Vickey Myatt at Vickey.Myatt@tcatnashville.edu or (615) 425-5533 with any questions regarding the Practical Nursing program.
